Wellington in January–February ’08
Some shots of Wellington, New Zealand, from the last few weeks. We begin with a city view from Mt Victoria, the corner of Courtenay Place and Kent Terrace, a beautiful full moon rising as viewed from Greta Pt, and two of a beautiful monarch butterfly in my garden (I see these daily).

So this is your summer, right? LOVE the flutter-bys! We're having a bit of a Spring preview here in Seattle, though the nights are still pretty darn cold & the days only into the low 50's.
